Dr. Berry’s current research on methodology focuses on the development of techniques for estimating econometric models with binary dependent variables, and methods for studying policy diffusion using geographical information systems. |

Dr. Cobbe is Professor of Economics at FSU. He has been at FSU since 1976 and previously taught at the University of Botswana, Lesotho, and Swaziland, and the London School of Economics and Political Science. His PhD is from Yale and his BA from the University of Cambridge, U.K. At FSU he has been Associate Dean [1985-1989] and Interim Dean [1986-87] of the College of Social Sciences, and Director of Graduate Studies in Economics [1990-1997] before becoming Chair of the Department. He has worked in more than fifteen countries in the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia.

Dr. Cooper’s research focuses on experimental economics with applications to game theory, managerial decision making, and entrepreneurship. He has written papers on learning in strategic settings, decision making by teams in strategic settings, overcoming coordination failure within organizations, and the role of communication in fostering collusion.

HIV/AIDS,
Demography of American Jews,
Applied Demography.

Dr. Eger's teaching interests are in the areas of public financial management, government and nonprofit accounting, applied quantitative analysis, taxation, and policy analysis. His research incorporates an array of public financial institutions including public authorities, municipal government boards, county governments, transit agencies, and state transportation departments.

Dr. Kim's first area of research concerns how well democracy functions in Western democracies. Another area of his research concerns the ongoing debate on the usefulness of rational choice theory in analyzing political phenomena in non-Western world. |
